My girls are all proficient at cuts, colours and highlights, and specialty services reaching above industry standards to provide you with the best workmanship they have to offer.  Everyone here is truly talented and they all care about hair and the outcome it has for you.  Here at The Hair Lounge, being a trend setting salon means that we have to stay up-to-date with what is going on in the industry and making sure that we are all educated in what’s “up and coming”.  Wiebe says, ”Hiring like-minded people makes my job easier”, which means whether you get the shampoo girl or a stylist they will exceed at their career and offer outstanding customer service to make sure that you are feeling fantastic with your visit to The Hair Lounge.

What would you be doing instead of hairdressing?

House Flipping. I would LOVE to redo old homes.

Now.  There are so many new techniques to use, more wearable styles.  Real life everyday hair.

Scarlet Johanson’s hair. Loved her short cut in 20/20. and Twiggy.

Why did you start doing hair?

I was soul searching and found a  book from the 1970’s in my mom’s basement, “Do What You Are”, it said my perfect career choice would be a hairstylist. It was funny actually because as soon as I started hair school, I realized that I had been doing hair my whole life, I just didn’t realize it.

I am really enjoying the current style trends.  It takes good aspects of previous decades and pieced them together to create the 2010’s.  From big texture to classic clean lines, from solid colours to ombre and pastels

Favourite celeb hair style?

Khloe Kardashian.  She rocks all colours from each end of the chart.  Bold, rich brunettes, soft and subtle ombre, right to the multi dimensional blonde.

Why did you start doing hair?

I started my career in hair because my Mom hated the idea.  Ha, ha!  I have always enjoyed styling hair, right from when I was a child.  Hair styling is a career that allows me to be social and interactive with people, as well as using my creative side.

What would you be doing instead of hairdressing?

I would be a doctor of some kind. I’m completely intrigued by anything medical. Although, that may have something to do with my obsession with Greys Anatomy.

In this industry, I feel like it\’s more important than any other, to stay up on trends with hair and fashion. So I have to say that my favourite decade is the one we are currently in.

There is so much beautiful hair in Hollywood. But I would say my favourites are Emma Stone, Reese Witherspoon and any of the Kardashians.

Why did you start doing hair?

As a teenager I had some of the most hideous haircuts.  So I feel it is my duty to make people feel prettier … one head at a time!

That depends, if I won the lottery I would start a charity that trains low income people who would like to get into a career in cosmetology. If no lottery winnings, something still in beauty and fashion.

One of my other passions is wedding and party decorating. To create something so beautiful and romantic that sets a tone for such an important day is something so special and so much fun!

I would say 1940’s hairstyles. They are one of the most stylish woman in the history of hair fashion. Even today we fall back to those trends. It was then that woman became very bold, sexy and daring!

Blake Lively. She is always so flawless and elegant

Why did you start doing hair?

I got into hair after trying many things I thought I should do. I eventually gave into the idea after my sister pointed out how much I enjoyed doing other peoples hair. I had never really considered it as a career for myself and saw it just as something fun to do at home in my spare time.

Julianne Hough because I love her blonde and she can sure rock a bob. A couple other favourites would be Taylor Swift and Blake Lively, only because their hair is always on point.
