The Hair Lounge raises $1300.00 for community links

Very Exciting Day.  We did 89 haircuts in 6 hrs with 8 stylists rotating chairs, 1 Cosmo student and an assistant washing hair.  Volunteers from Community links serving hot dogs and Wendy Contant helping out with the raffle.  My receptionist extraordinaire – Kate, creatively organizing chaos.  It was a day to remember and I’m very proud of my staff and all the volunteers and I look forward to the next $10 dollar hair cut day.  Thank you to the Echo, Scoop, Cityview and Range for promoting...

$10 Haircut Day, Helps Community Links

Airdrie, AB - Monday November 15, 2010 - On Monday November 15th The Hair Lounge will be opening its doors to the first ever $10 Hair Cut Day. The salon will be open from 1pm – 7pm and accepting clients on a first come, first serve basis. 100% of proceeds will be donated to Community Links.

The salon will have eight senior stylists working non-stop from 1pm – 7...
